You have been created in the image of God. You know that God creates with the words of His mouth. It would appear then, that in His image, you create with your words too. So here’s a worthy prayer — “Lord, help me to control my tongue and keep the things I say in line with your Word.” You'd better ask for help with the “meditation of our hearts”part, too. David knew of his need in this area. He was well aware of the power of the tongue and the impossibility of taming it on his own. He sought God and asked for help. The Holy Spirit in you offers that same help. Quit struggling on your own and ask for some supernatural, Holy Spirit, Christ-in-you assistance with your mouth! Then you’ll be able to create with your Words just like your Father.

WORDS OF LIFE:

• My heart and my mouth belong to the Lord and He will make them pure and acceptable in His sight.
• I am unable to help myself but I belong to the One who saves me. I am redeemed.
• By faith I receive God’s power to control my mouth and line up my words with the Word of God.

iWork 2.0

iWork no longer has group meetings on Monday evenings. 

Instead, we will have our iWork volunteers available to speak with you individually by phone or by video conference whenever you need them.  To speak to a volunteer about whatever is going on in your job search, simply send an email to iWork(at)idlewild.org
