Description
The Middle School Volleyball Coach develops and provides instruction for the girls’ volleyball program during the fall season (August 17 to October 30, 2026). The candidate must be a committed Christian disciple who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and teaching middle school student-athletes. The coach should have experience in coaching volleyball and must be comfortable communicating and applying Biblical truth to participation in athletics and in life.
Job Functions:
- Plans and directs practices to help each individual and the team reach their highest potential in skill development, competitive performance, sportsmanship, and Christ-like character
- Teaches fundamental volleyball skills, strategies, and rules of the game
- Maintains clear and consistent communication with players, parents, and athletic staff
- Understands volleyball-specific rules/regulations and instructs student-athletes accordingly
- Leads daily Biblical devotional at practices
- Attends all practices and matches
