Position: Senior Software Develop Engineer

Job Location : United States : Florida : Tampa

Role Value Proposition:

Review, analyze and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing and resolving complex technical issues across multiple IT solutions. Create system requirements and perform design, analysis, coding and unit testing of system functionality and defect corrections across multiple platforms. Coordinate changes and prioritize tasks with business or technical departments. Coordinate system application transition from development teams to maintenance and production teams and construct and implement necessary controls to ensure system/application traceability. Provide technical and analytical support to team members and business partners. Provide support and resolve issues related to production and regulatory report generation and submissions. Identify and address performance degradations, outages and risks associated with monitored services.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering Management (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus two years of experience encoding, testing and resolving complex technical issues across multiple IT solutions or, alternatively, a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering Management (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and four years of experience encoding, testing and resolving complex technical issues across multiple IT solutions. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Maintaining and supporting the Tagetik SII software solution; writing code and troubleshooting issues, applying knowledge of data intersection points and Quantitative Reporting Templates (QRTs); performing QRT requirements, including calculations, validations, transformations and currency translations; and translating business reporting process to system design and build, applying knowledge of QRT and data point relationship to generate regulatory reporting templates.
